The 2010 Minnesota Vikings are back at Metrodome. The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome (often simply called The Metrodome) is a domed sports stadium in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Metrodome serves as host to Minnesota Vikings (NFL), Minnesota Twins (AL), Minnesota Golden Gophers football (Big Ten). It is the only public stadium in the United States that does not rely on a continuing tax subsidy to finance operations, maintenance or debt payments. The lid that has become such a recognizable part of the Minneapolis skyline is made up of 10 acres of Teflon-coated fiberglass. The stadium seats 64,111 for football.
