The 2010 Tennessee Titans are back at LP Field. LP Fieldis a football stadium located on the east bank of the Cumberland River, directly across the river from downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It is used primarily as the current home stadium of the National Football League's Tennessee Titans, but also used as the home football field for the Tennessee State University Tigers. Its seating capacity is slightly under 69,000. Seats classified as Upper Level, Loge, Club, Corner, End Zone, Sideline, Club Seats, and Party Suites. The playing surface of LP Field is Tifsport Bermuda Sod, a natural grass. In spite of the efforts to improve the field conditions, which the operators usually resodded in late November, the poor quality of the grass has become a complaint of many NFL players, fans, and broadcasters. LP Field is also the site of the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, a postseason college football game played each December, and is sometimes used as a venue for soccer matches.
